Ingredients
  

  • 8 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 3 ripe peaches sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  4. In a Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the chicken thighs to the Dutch oven, skin-side down, and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the chicken thighs over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove the chicken thighs from the Dutch oven and set aside.
  8. Add the onions and peaches to the Dutch oven and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  9. Return the chicken thighs to the Dutch oven, skin-side up, and pour the maple syrup mixture over the top.
  10. Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the chicken thighs are cooked through.

Tips and Tricks

Make sure to brown the chicken thighs on both sides to get a crispy skin and add flavor to the dish.
Use ripe and juicy peaches for maximum flavor.
If you don't have a Dutch oven, you can use a heavy-bottomed pot or a large skillet with a lid.
