Ingredients

  • 1 can biscuits 8 per pack
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce or other sweet kc masterpiece BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 ½ cup cheese shredded sharp cheddar

Method

  1. Spread biscuits in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet.
  3. Spread a layer of biscuits on the bottom of the pan and squish them down while the beef cooks.
  4. Set aside until beef is done baking (approximately 5 minutes) and serve.
  5. Drain the grease thoroughly after cooking ground beef.
  6. Mix in the barbecue sauce and the mustard, then season to taste with more of either.
  7. o a biscuit bottom, add the beef mixture.
  8. Shred some cheese and scatter it on top.
  9. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted.
