1cuptamarind paste
1/2cupbrown sugar
1/2cupwater
1tspallspice

Method
In a saucepan, combine the tamarind paste, brown sugar, water, and allspice.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky, about 10-15 minutes.
Remove the mixture from heat and allow it to cool.
Once the mixture has cooled, use your hands to shape it into small balls.
Place the balls on a sheet of wax paper and allow them to cool completely before serving.
Use vegetable oil on your hands when shaping the mixture into balls to prevent sticking.If the mixture becomes too sticky, place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up before shaping.To make the balls more uniform in size, use a cookie scoop or small ice cream scoop to portion out the mixture.
