Ingredients

  • 4 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley

  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out each sheet of puff pastry to a 10-inch square.
  3. On each square of pastry, layer a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by chopped bacon, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Starting at one end, tightly roll up each square of pastry to form a log.
  5. Brush the logs with the beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Cut each log into 4 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
