1/2cupketchup
2clovesgarlic minced
2tbspWorcestershire sauce30g
1tbsp sugarbrown
2tspmustard powderdry
1tsponion powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8×11” or 9×13″ baking dish with cooking spray.
Start by washing and preparing your vegetables. I chopped mine using a food processor.
Next, prepare a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced beef and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the meat is no longer pink,
stirring frequently and separating into smaller pieces as you go. Then, transfer the cooked beef to a large mixing basin.
Spray the same skillet with cooking spray. Add the diced pepper, onion, and mushrooms and cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender, about 6-7 minutes. Then, transfer the veggies to the same large mixing basin with the beef.
Then, in a separate mixing basin, add all the sloppy joe sauce ingredients. Whisk to incorporate. Pour sauce into the bowl with the beef and vegetables and stir.
Add sloppy joe mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top.
Cut each biscuit into four pieces and position evenly across the top.
Lastly, bake for 25 minutes, or until the peaks of biscuits are golden brown.
