Cheeseburger Biscuit Bake Recipe

Equipment

  • Baking dish
  • skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spatula
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 buttermilk biscuits tube with 8 biscuits
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Garlic salt and dried parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Ground beef and sliced onion should be cooked together in a large skillet over medium heat. Rinse the water out of the pan and put it back in.
  • To the skillet, combine the tomato paste, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  • Reduce heat to low enough to maintain a simmer. Turn down the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Half of the ground beef mixture should be placed in a 9-by-9-inch baking dish. Add a cup of shredded cheese on top. Iterate until all layers are complete.
  • Break open the biscuits and arrange them in a ring around the perimeter of the serving plate.
  • Spread biscuits with melted butter using a pastry brush. Garnish with minced garlic and chopped fresh parsley.
  • Biscuits should be baked at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are brown.

Notes

Precook ground beef for quicker baking.
Use pre-made biscuit dough for convenience.
Season beef with desired spices for flavor.
Layer cheese evenly for a gooey texture.
Allow the dish to cool slightly before serving.
Customize with toppings like pickles or onions.
Monitor baking time to avoid overcooking.
