Ingredients
1lb.ground pork sausage
1/2cupbreadcrumbs
1/4cupmilk
1egg
1/4cuponion, finely chopped
1/4cupparsley, finely chopped
1/2tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
2sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
1egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out each sheet of puff pastry into a 12x9-inch rectangle.
Cut each pastry sheet in half lengthwise to make 4 rectangles.
Divide the sausage mixture into 8 equal portions.
Place each portion of sausage mixture along the center of each pastry rectangle.
Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
Roll up the pastry tightly around the sausage mixture, tucking in the edges as you go.
Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top of each roll with the egg wash.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
