Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Argentine Red Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • unsalted butter
  • cloves garlic, minced
  • white wine
  • freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread, for serving

Instructions

  • Start by peeling and deveining the Argentine Red Shrimp. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the white wine to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
  • Add the lemon juice and chopped parsley to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Season the shrimp scampi with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the Argentine Red Shrimp Scampi over a bed of cooked pasta or with a side of crusty bread.

Notes

Tips and Tricks

To save time, you can buy pre-peeled and deveined shrimp.
Use fresh garlic and squeeze the lemon juice yourself for the best flavor.
