Prepare the Pork Roast:

- d. Place the pork loin in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the pan. Add the bay leaves.
- e. Cover the roasting pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- f. Roast the pork in the preheated oven for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- g. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
- a. Preheat a griddle or panini press over medium heat.
- b. Slice the Cuban-style bread roll or hero rolls in half horizontally.
- c. Spread a tablespoon of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each roll.
- d. Layer 3 slices of boiled ham, 3 slices of roast pork, a generous amount of bread and butter pickles, and 2 slices of Swiss cheese on each roll.
- e. Place the top half of the roll over the fillings to form a sandwich.
- f. Spread butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches.
- g. Place the sandwiches on the preheated griddle or panini press and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- h. Remove the sandwiches from the griddle or panini press and let them rest for a minute before serving.
