Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh Argentine red shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Large skillet or frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Garlic press (optional)

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the fresh parsley, oregano, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  4. Add the peeled and deveined Argentine red shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until they are pink and cooked through.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving dish.
  6. Garnish with additional fresh parsley and lemon wedges (optional).
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Tips and Tricks

Make sure to heat the oil in the skillet before adding the garlic to prevent it from burning.
