Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and vegetable oil.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet.
  5. Tilt the skillet to spread the batter evenly. Cook the pancake for 1-2 minutes on one side or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  6. Flip the pancake over using a spatula and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 with the remaining batter until all the pancakes are cooked.
