Ingredients

  • 400 grams Dulce de Leche
  • 500 grams Cream Cheese
  • 2 packets Chocolate Cookies (400g)
  • 1 cup Strong Coffee

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • 2 medium-sized bowls (for coffee and dipping cookies)
  • Rectangular baking dish
  • Plastic wrap

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the dulce de leche and cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, pour the strong coffee.
  3. Dip the chocolate cookies in the coffee, making sure to coat both sides of each cookie.
  4. In a rectangular dish, layer the soaked cookies, followed by a layer of the dulce de leche and cream cheese mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers of cookies and cream cheese mixture, finishing with a layer of cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  7. Once the Chocotorta has set, remove it from the refrigerator and serve.
