Cheeseburger Biscuit Cups Recipe

Equipment

  • Muffin tin
  • Skillet or frying pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Oven for baking

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef ground
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons sugar light brown
  • 1 tablespoon mustard yellow
  • 1 teaspoon sauce Worcestershire
  • 2 tubes biscuits 6 oz each refrigerated biscuits
  • 4 oz cheese Velveeta cubed small

Instructions

  • 1.Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Get ready a muffin tin with 12 cups by spraying 10 of them. Putting aside.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until it's no longer pink. Drain.
  • Blend in some brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend ingredients together by stirring. While you're getting the muffin tins ready, turn the heat down to low and let it simmer.
  • Flatten out one biscuit into a huge, round disc. Personally, I just use my hands, although a rolling pin would work just as well.
  • Put it in muffin tins and press down. To finish the biscuits, repeat the process.
  • Fill each biscuit cup with two Velveeta cheese cubes.
  • Fill each biscuit cup to the top with the cheeseburger mixture, then top with two additional Velveeta cheese cubes.
  • Biscuit cups should be baked for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the biscuits are cooked through.
  • Set the muffin tin aside for about 5 minutes to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Press biscuit dough evenly in muffin tin cups.
Pre-cook onions for a milder flavor.
Use non-stick spray for easy removal.
Allow the cups to cool slightly before serving.
Make a double batch for larger gatherings.
Serve with condiments on the side for dipping.
