Ingredients

  • 3 bananas ripe
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar white
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon ground
  • 1 pinch nutmeg ground
  • 1 quart oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup sugar confectionersfor dusting

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, peel and mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

  • a. Peel and discard the skin of the bananas.
  • b. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the bananas to a creamy consistency.

Add the milk, eggs, and melted butter to the mashed bananas.

  • a. Pour the milk into the mixing bowl.
  • b. Crack open the eggs and add them to the bowl.
  • c. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop before adding it to the mixture.
  • d. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, white sugar, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.

  • b. Add three tablespoons of white sugar to the flour.
  • c. Add one teaspoon of baking powder to the dry mixture.
