Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork. Mix them together until well combined.

Add the finely chopped onions to the meat mixture.
a. Stir the onions into the meat mixture until they are evenly incorporated.
Take the slices of slightly stale white bread and tear them into small pieces. Place the bread pieces in a bowl and pour warm water or milk over them. Let the bread soak for a few minutes until it becomes soft.
a. Gently squeeze out any excess liquid from the soaked bread.
Add the soaked bread to the meat mixture.
a. Mix it well, ensuring that the bread is evenly distributed throughout the meat.
Crack the eggs into a separate bowl and beat them lightly with a fork.

Add the minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, black pepper, prepared yellow mustard, dried marjoram, sweet Hungarian paprika, ground ginger, ground mace, ground coriander, and ground cardamom to the bowl.

Take a portion of the meat mixture and shape it into a patty, about the size of your palm.
a. Repeat this process until all the meat mixture has been used, forming multiple patties.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Carefully place the Frikadellen patties into the skillet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
