Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups cubed bread
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 can 12 fl. oz. evaporated milk
  • 1 can 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

  • Large mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place bread and raisins in a large bowl. Add evaporated milk and let soak for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the egg mixture and melted butter to the bread mixture and stir well to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use stale bread or let fresh bread sit out for a few hours to make it easier to cube and soak.
