Equipment

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces tequila
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 6 ounces limeade concentrate
  • 1 oz Syrup Blackberry Simple
  • 2 ounces blue curacao
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 oz. Liquer orange
  • 1 oz. amaretto
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 cups ice
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • salt

Instructions

Wash the black raspberries:

  • a. Rinse the black raspberries under cool, running water.
  • b. Check for any stems or leaves and remove them.
  • c. Set the cleaned black raspberries aside for later use.

Prepare the margarita mixture in the blender:

  • a. Add 6 ounces of tequila to the blender.
  • b. Pour in 6 ounces of limeade concentrate.
  • c. Measure and add 2 ounces of blue curacao.
  • d. Include 1 ounce of orange liqueur in the mixture.
  • e. Add 1 ounce of amaretto for additional flavor.
  • f. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of sugar into the blender.
  • g. Squeeze the juice of half a lime into the mixture (optional: add a handful of ice cubes).
  • h. Carefully add the cleaned black raspberries to the blender.

Blend the ingredients:

  • a. Put the lid on the blender securely.
  • b. Blend all the ingredients until they are smooth and well combined.
  • c. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired.

Prepare the serving glasses:

  • a. Take half a lime and rub it around the rim of each glass.
  • b. Place salt on a plate and dip the rims of the glasses into it for a classic margarita presentation.
  • c. Alternatively, use sugar for a sweeter rim.

Add ice to the glasses:

  • a. Fill each glass with ice cubes to keep the margarita chilled.

Pour the margarita mixture:

  • a. Carefully pour the blended margarita mixture into each glass until they are about 3/4 full.
