FREE CAMPING

ALIEN RUN

Alien Run Mountain Bike Trail consists of two looped mountain bike trails that cover over 26 miles.  The original loop and the Outer Limits trail circle around a rumored UFO crash site.

Angel Peak Scenic Area

The road in is Gravel and 1-6 miles from a paved road. There are 6-15 campsites at this location. You may stay 14 Days at Angel Peak Scenic Area.

BEYOND THE WELL

The road in is Dirt. Beyond the well is open - weather permitting. There are 1-5 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 25'. You may stay 14 days at Beyond the Well.

HIKING TRAILS

Cox Canyon  Arch 

The Cox Canyon Arch is located in Aztec. It is 0.6km long & can be rated as an easy trail. Any person with any skill can manage this trail. We loved the arch & the trail was well marked.

Simon Canyon Ruin

Simon Canyon Ruin is a moderate trail that measures 2.6km It is located in Aztec. One of the features we loved a lot was the river. The site was fantastic, and the trail was well maintained.

Aztec Animals River Trail 

Aztec Animals River Trail is located in Aztec. The trail is 2.6km long, and one of its great features is a lake. You can use the trail for different activities like running, walking, & biking.
