A visit to Vietnam is always a wise idea and a great Bucket List Destination. The county boasts some of the cheapest rates in the world. Vietnam offers some breathtaking sites, a vibrant culture, and the friendliest people. Ho Chi Minh City is among the best places to visit while in Vietnam.
The local people are very friendly and welcoming to tourists and will make you feel at home. With friendly people comes the great culture they uphold. The culture is insistent on love and peace which is what every tourist wants to hear.
While here, ensure you ride through the very busy streets on a motorbike to get an authentic feel of the city life. The Ben Than Market should also be among the first places you visit. The building is among the most ancient buildings in Vietnam. It offers a place to buy some local handicrafts and experience Vietnamese life. Notre-Dame Cathedral is the most popular destination in Ho Chi Minh City.

Items for a bucket list do not always have to be a bucket list destination. Yes, you read the title right. While mermaid school is no a bucket list destination it is real and making its way across Canada, the States, and even into Costa Rica. Schools are opening where you can visit for lessons in Mermaid 101. The activity is both artistic expression and a fun way to keep fit.
Some schools also offer bookings for parties at their place or yours. Now that would be a party to remember!

A visit to East Africa is a must-do for any budget traveler. And Kenya offers some of the most beautiful destinations, one of which is Mombasa. Located along the Indian Ocean, Mombasa offers all sorts of activities and scenery.
Among the most popular destinations here are The Old Town and Fort Jesus. These ancient buildings constructed by the Portuguese are more than 300 years old. You will find antique shops located here as well as classic restaurants. Dine on a mixture of local dishes and other African cuisines.
The beach is beautiful with the white sand, the tall palm trees, and the vibrant local people. This makes it a trip to remember. Mtwapa Creek offers a great bird watching spot as well as deep sea fishing. Kenya is famous for its wildlife. Mombasa offers areas such as Shimba Hills National Park to view wildlife. You may find giraffes, lions, hippos, rhinos or elephants. This country in Africa should be on your bucket-list destinations list.

A visit to Thailand is never complete without visiting the islands of Thailand. They are world famous for having the most exquisite scenery. The scenery is nice but the people attract many more visitors throughout the year. They come to enjoy the scenery and the warm weather. These islands are also home to many movie productions over the years.

Iceland may seem like an unlikely holiday destination. You will find a land of untapped nature, and surprises around every bend in the road. Iceland gives you a unique travel agenda you will never forget. Picture a dip in a geothermally heated water pool with everything else around frozen solid.
Walk on a beach of black as night sand and blue waters. The isolation of the island has resulted in a unique space. Once you start exploring, you’ll find there is so much more to Iceland than its icy exterior.
Iceland would be at or near the top of my bucket-list destination list.

Guatemala offers some of the best bargains for the best bucket-list destination list. Lago De Atitlan is one destination that every tourist needs to visit. This is a lake that considered to be the most beautiful in the world. Three volcanic mountains surround the lake which gives it a majestic view.
Go early and late and get photographs with no ripples. The volcanoes provide the perfect reflection for your work.
The shores of the lake provide many local vendors selling local souvenirs. Others sell local dishes that are tasty and cheap. One can ride a boat to the villages of San Lucas Tuliman or San Pedro. San Pedro is a famous destination for backpackers. The village of Panajachel is where most tourists stay. The food and accommodations were among the most affordable in the world.

Challenging yourself to learn a new skill set is a clever way to future-proof your career. Skills with Photoshop or your ability to speak Spanish can yield huge advantages.
Enroll in an after-hours or online course in an area that interests you. It doesn’t have to be a part of your 9 to 5 job. Choose from classes in calligraphy, photo styling, LED electronics or in business start-ups. There are so many you will find one that interests you.
A class could end up being a successful and profitable career option in a few years. Having more knowledge to offer your employer will help you get ahead of others with less to offer. Leverage your current position by asking for assignments to use your new skills. It will prove your versatility and will be a nice addition to the resume.

You can throw your watch away, think on your feet, trust your instincts, and go with the flow.
Without a rigid travel timetable, you can ditch the schedules. Jump off the beaten road to travel the world at your own pace. You never know what you might find or who you’ll meet. I know because I have done it. Put this on your bucket list for a meaningful experience.

Laos is a small Southeast Asian country that is one of the less well-known destinations on this list. It is a beautiful country filled with lush vegetation, rivers, and breathtaking scenery. The village of Vang Vieng is among the best places to visit.
The village is also surrounded by limestone cliffs. The Nam Song River runs along the center of town. Tourists can engage in tubing and kayaking here. Tubing involves sitting on large rubber inner tubes and floating down the river. You can also visit Blue Lagoon to enjoy a warm spot that is famous for the rope swinging activities. Tham Norn is a gigantic cave in Vang Vieng which you can also visit for the adventurous.

The Republic of Namibia is a country in southern Africa. Bordered on the west by the Atlantic ocean it offers every geographic option. The capital is Windhoek but that should not be a focus of your trip. The country has so much more to offer.
With its other-worldlike landscapes and elemental emptiness, Namibia has always enthralled us. There’s a fresh focus on the Southern African nation in 2019 as a travel destination. Many new lodges have opened across the country.
Namibia very easy and safe to travel in, but offers as much as other countries in Africa. Etosha National Park to drive alongside giraffes, elephants, black rhinos, lions and more.
Go dune climbing at sunrise in the Namibian desert. Explore the beaches and coastlines for shipwrecks to explore. The skies are darker than anywhere in the world, so the Milky Way is always shining over your head every night.
The Kalahari Desert is a well-known geographical feature of Namibia. The Kalahari, while called a desert, has a myriad of different environments. Including some verdant areas that are not desert at all.
